Terms of Service
Last updated 6 September 2026
Draft. This document is pending review by Vietnamese counsel against Decree 13/2023 (PDPD) before Nest opens to the public.
These terms are the agreement between you and Nest. By creating an account you accept them.
1. Who can use Nest
You must be 18 or older, and you must be a student, alumnus or member of a participating university — currently Fulbright University Vietnam.
One person, one account. You must give accurate information about yourself, including your age and your identity during verification. Do not create an account for anyone else.
2. What Nest is
Nest is built around limits: you can hold 3 conversations at a time, each conversation closes 7 days after it opens, you get 10 likes a day, and there are no photographs anywhere in the product.
These limits are the service, not a temporary restriction. We may adjust the exact numbers as the community grows, and we will say so in the app when we do.
3. Verification
You cannot match, message or arrange dates until your student status is verified, either by a student card or by confirming a university email address.
Submitting a document that is not yours, or that has been altered, ends your access permanently.
4. How to behave here
Do not harass, threaten, or pressure anyone. Do not ask for money, and do not promote a business. Do not pretend to be someone you are not. Do not share another person's private information.
Do not pressure anyone to move the conversation off Nest, and do not use Nest to reach anyone under 18.
You keep ownership of what you write. You give us permission to store it and to show it to the people you are matched with, for as long as the service needs to display it.
5. Reports and moderation
Anyone can report a profile, a conversation or a date. We read reports and we act on them: a warning, a suspension, or permanent removal.
A report of underage use suspends the reported account immediately, before review. We may end any account that breaks these terms, and we are not obliged to explain our reasoning in detail.
6. Meeting people
Nest does not run background checks on anyone. We verify that someone is a student. We do not verify that they are safe, honest, or kind.
Meet in public. Tell a friend where you are going. Leave whenever you want to. You are responsible for your own decisions about who to meet and where.
7. Availability
Nest is early software. It may be unavailable, it may lose a feature, and it may change. We provide it as it is, without a promise that it will suit any particular purpose.
To the extent Vietnamese law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses arising from your use of Nest, or from anything that happens between you and someone you meet through it.
8. Ending it
You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We can close an account that breaks these terms.
When an account ends, its profile and messages are deleted on the schedule set out in the Privacy Policy.
9. Law and changes
These terms are governed by the law of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
If we change them materially, we will tell you in the app before the change takes effect. Continuing to use Nest after that means you accept the new version.
